SERVICE:

1. We invite everyone to participate in our first Service Dress Down for $2. The money collected, as well as the money collected from our Spring dress down day, will be used to purchase 6 bags of groceries for families in need on Wadmalaw and Johns Island just in time for the Easter holiday. The Easter Food Drive was a program started by Claire Bergstrom after Hurricane Hugo. I have placed collection bags in all advisor boxes. Please collect $2 from any student dressed down in your homeroom tomorrow. The bags or envelopes can be placed back in my mailbox, turned into Dianna Luff, Sheila Smith, or Marley Drayton. I will also ask service leaders to check in with teachers during break tomorrow to help collect.

2. Please join our Race for the Cure team. http://lowcountry.info-komen.org/site/TR/RacefortheCure/CHS_LowcountryAffiliate?team_id=372362&pg=team&fr_id=6459. They have made great strides in keeping majority of the all the funds raised from this race as local as possible (http://komenlowcountry.org/komen-lowcountry-awards-178653-to-community-non-profits/). Please register to be part of our team to help us 'win' the largest school team again this year! And please join us on Saturday, October 15th if you are in town!

3. The American Red Cross will be here on Friday, October 7th from 8AM-2PM in the lobby of the Wendell Center. Please donate if you are able. Rapid pass is a program that allows donors to complete the questionnaire online before they come to donate blood to save you time (you must complete the questionnaire the day of the drive though). If you think you have 25+ minutes to spare on 10/7 and are eligible, then we would love to have you donate! You can register online or email me for an appointment. http://www.redcrossblood.org/rcbmobile/drive/driveSearch.jsp

Clubs and other Info:

Math Madness! Don't forget the competition begins Wednesday morning at 8:10! Please meet in Mrs. Fox's room!

Student Drivers:

MAKE SURE YOUR CAR HAS A PG STICKER!!!

Please remember that students are only allowed to park in 2 areas:

1.) The Stadium lot

2.) The gravel lot beyond the wooden fence past the Middle School building
(this is actually closer to the S&T building than people realize!)

IN THE GRAVEL LOT:

There are bumper blocks installed the gravel parking areas now. The bumper blocks are placed to designate the parking spaces. So, when you park, your vehicle should be centered on the bumper block. If everyone will park properly on the bumper blocks, we can maximize parking.
